Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before engaging our services. By signing a service agreement with Self Publish Me, LLC, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth below.

1. About Self Publish Me, LLC

Self Publish Me, LLC is a publishing consulting firm based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, providing book production, publishing consulting, and author support services to independent authors and organizations. Our services include manuscript preparation, layout and design, ISBN and LCCN registration assistance, print coordination, and marketing tools.

2. Services

The specific services to be provided, associated fees, and project timelines are detailed in the individual service agreement executed between Self Publish Me, LLC and the client prior to project commencement. These Terms and Conditions apply to all service agreements unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service offering at our discretion, with reasonable notice to affected clients.

3. Client Responsibilities

To enable timely and quality delivery of services, clients agree to:

• Provide complete, accurate, and final manuscript content and materials as specified in the service agreement
• Designate a single point of contact for all project communications
• Respond to proofs, revision requests, and approvals within agreed timeframes
• Ensure all content submitted is original, owned by the client, or properly licensed for publication
• Provide accurate billing and contact information

Delays caused by late client responses, incomplete materials, or significant scope changes may affect the production timeline and could result in additional fees.

4. Payment Terms

Payment schedules and amounts are specified in each service agreement. All fees are due according to the schedule outlined therein. Self Publish Me, LLC reserves the right to pause project work on accounts with outstanding balances. Refunds, if applicable, are governed by the terms of the individual service agreement.

5. SMS Messaging

By signing a service agreement with Self Publish Me, LLC, submitting a website form, or otherwise providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively consenting to receive SMS communications, you agree to receive transactional and operational text messages related to your publishing project and account activity.

These messages may include, but are not limited to:

• Project status updates and milestone notifications
• Proof delivery and revision alerts
• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Deadline notifications
• Document signature requests
• Customer support communications
• Internal workflow and project coordination updates

Message frequency varies depending on client activity, project status, and communication preferences.

Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact Self Publish Me, LLC directly.

Opting out of SMS communications does not cancel or otherwise affect your existing service agreement or publishing project.

Users subscribing through website forms or email campaigns must voluntarily provide their phone number and explicitly consent to receive SMS communications by checking the applicable consent box prior to submission.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

The client retains full ownership of all original manuscript content, creative work, and intellectual property submitted to Self Publish Me, LLC. Self Publish Me, LLC retains no ownership rights to client content.

Self Publish Me, LLC retains ownership of its proprietary processes, templates, tools, and systems. Nothing in a service agreement grants the client a license to these proprietary materials beyond their use within the scope of the project.

The client represents and warrants that all content provided does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

7. Confidentiality

Self Publish Me, LLC treats all manuscript content and client business information as confidential and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to fulfill services (e.g., printers, distributors) or as required by law. Clients are encouraged to maintain backups of all original files, as Self Publish Me, LLC cannot guarantee permanent storage of client materials beyond project completion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Self Publish Me, LLC’s liability to any client for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

Self Publish Me, LLC is not responsible for errors, delays, or rejections caused by third-party platforms including but not limited to Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, the Library of Congress, or printing vendors.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, with venue in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.

10. Changes to These Terms

Self Publish Me, LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Continued engagement with our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
